Audio and Board Game Media

A.    Audio
I got this audio from 123Listening.com, a website providing listening materials. I choose topic about classroom because it’s one of environments around students. This material for first grade students in Junior High School relate to KD 3.5. First students must listen and choose one of nouns that have been mention from audio with put √. Then teacher replays again the audio, and students must write down the name of noun. This exercise as a basic training for students in listening.

A.    Board game (monopoly)
I imitate this media from monopoly board game, but this is real handmade by me and its rules too. This media used for ice breaking as opening or closing learning, but students still learn something from this game because behind the card teacher put question that must be answer to get the money. Teacher will divide students into two big groups, it makes competition more active. The group which get much money is winner.

Steps and rules
First, this game played by using this board, dies and pion. Students play one by one.
Second, if pion  stands on this card, please read the question behind it. for example: if player get question like on purple card, so she must make the action and her friends will guess what she do. If player get like yellow card question, so she and her friends must to mention it. if they can answer question from these card they got $1.

Third, if player get standing on prison card, there are two options she must pay fine $2 or she is failed (stop playing).

Fourth, if the player get standing on city card, congratulations she get $5 but don’t forget to pay tax $2.

MINI RESEARCH PART 2

A.            Result and Discussion As Nguyen Ngoan stated in his article “ listening to VOA: advantages, problems and solutions” the students have to face these three problems. First of all, the students find it hard to understand proper names as they have never heard about it before. In other words, they have no background knowledge about what they are listening. The second problem is believed to rise from the unfamiliar, uninteresting and too long listening which makes the students feel strange, discouraged and bored of what they are hearing. The last one is assumed to be about the sound connections and intonation spoken by native speakers with different accents. The researcher has interview 7 students from unit 6 with some questions, these are the result of information and has analyzed by researcher. The way student study by their own and the strategies will help them to get over   and success in listening: from the...

TECHNOLOGY-INTERNET MEDIA WWW.MINDOMO.COM Santi Rahmadani (140203028) A.     Introduction The term instructional media has been defined in a variety of ways. In some cases, it refers to all aids that are used by the teacher and students. In other cases, it refers only to printed media. This definition is close to a broader definition such as that of Romiszowski (1981: 339) which includes not only electronic communications media, but also such devices as slides, photographs, teacher-made diagrams, charts, real objects and handouts that we use in the process of planned instruction. A key feature of effective teaching is the selection of instructional materials that meet the needs of students and fit the constraints of the teaching and learning environment. Instructional resources usually fall into one of two categories: student-centered and teacher-centered. In the student-centered model, instructional resources can be used for tutorials, problem solving, ...
